2021 Kettmeir Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC

Since 1919, Kettmeir has been at the heart of winemaking in Alto Adige. There are ideal conditions for grape cultivation in this superb territory, including a range of soil types, altitudes, and temperatures. The Alto Adige is the German-speaking part of Italy, and Kettmeir's Pinot Bianco works wonderfully with dishes that marry different cultures and cuisines. Crab cakes with siracha aioli or duck confit empanadas would shine with Pinot Bianco's crisp, fruity, clean finish. With racy acidity and medium weight, Kettmeir's Pinot Bianco can be easily enjoyed as an aperitif or complement dishes as simple as roast chicken with knoedel (local Tyrolean dumplings) or more delicate cuisines like sushi.

Expect beautiful floral and green apple notes with delicate minerality. Dry on the palate, unoaked with crisp acidity and long, juicy yet mineral finish. Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, floral scents of wisteria and fruity notes of green apple.
